We are having a wedding! Our son Kevin is marrrying an amazing young woman Jamie in December, which will be the third December wedding for our family.

Our kids have grown up! She looked so beautiful!
Today I spent a delightful day wedding gown shopping with our bride and her Mom, who flew in from California for the occasion. Our son is marrying into a wonderful family and it was wonderful to spend the day with them. His bride will look gorgeous if any of the gowns she tried on today are any indication.
These are not the gowns she is considering so I feel comfortable is sharing this cute picture of her and her mom and some of the other gowns she tried...
Kevin is in his last year of Dental school in VA and met his bride while she was getting her masters in Midwifery at Georgetown University in DC. Jamie is now practicing as a Nurse Midwife, taking care of moms and delivering babies in a womens clinic and hospital in Montana and is under contract.

So what all this means is that once they are married, they will still be separated until he graduates in May, and 'theirs' will continue to be a long distance marriage until graduation. They are really using all their Verizon to Verizon Minutes! Actually he has all of December off from of school and will be able to do 2 externships for a dentist in Montana this spring and she has four day weekends every other weekend so she will also be building some frequent flier miles up until May. Isn't young love grand? .... and best of all we gain another wonderful daughter!
Many Hugs,
Beth

How sweet she looks in the dress. I love weddings, and congratulations on your new soon to be daughter. Talk about long distance romance, what a shame it has to be that way for them but Love will get them threw it all. Have a great weekend.
Hugs;
Alaura
Best Wishes as you help plan this new union. Seems she is getting a great family also. Isn't is wonderful!

She is beautiful...lucky young man!
A wedding! How exciting! And what a lovely bride. Did her mom cry when she tried on the wedding gowns? December will be here before you know it!
Ahh, I remember those days...
How exciting! Wedding preparations are stressful, but lots of fun. Trying on dresses can be a party by itself! It is always wonderful to see a future mother-in-law get excited for the bride and groom.
Have a beautiful week,
Jen
I didn't see the 2 new pictures! The gowns are so gorgeous! If only they had gowns like that back when my husband and I were married *sigh*
